Research Assistant position

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide support as a research technician to develop bioimaging tools in the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. The successful candidate will work closely with specialists on the field of gene regulation and state-of-the-art bioimaging techniques, such as single-cell transcription live-imaging, and will also have access to a variety of training opportunities to expand their skillsets. This post offers an excellent opportunity for anyone who intends to pursue a PhD later on.
Scientific Area: Gene regulation / 3D genome structure / Development.
Eligibility / Requirements:
We seek candidates with a Master degree in biological sciences or related areas, that are team players, within the collaborative environment of the lab. Prior expertise with the use of Drosophila as a model system and/or in basic molecular biology techniques will be considered a valuable asset. Good communication skills and a good level of spoken English are mandatory.
